Networks and assets

Choose networks and use the right token units

Choose networks in the agent's settings. Base is selected by default; enable the testnet toggle to see test networks. Access keys and MCP connections must include the networks they will use.

Available networks

Use the key with CLI --chain or SDK agent network selection.

NetworkKeyAssetsPaid APIs
BasebaseETH, USDCx402

A paid API must offer the selected network and supported asset. Uniswap uses Base Sepolia; ENS identity setup uses Ethereum Sepolia. Enabling a network does not automatically enable a plugin.

Amounts and fees

CLI send commands accept decimal token amounts. SDK transfer requests use atomic-unit strings and an explicit maxFeeAtomic. Keep amounts as strings or bigint in application code rather than floating-point numbers.

USDC amounts in x402 challenges6

For example, 1 USDC at six decimals is '1000000'; 0.001 SOL is '1000000' lamports. Arc's native and ERC-20 USDC interfaces represent one balance with different decimal precision.

Tempo accepts a separate eligible fee token. Testnet USDC.e cannot pay gas; its default fee token is OUSD. Provider-sponsored MPP charges have zero agent gas, while the agent still pays the service price.

Tempo USD spending quotes use CoinGecko's timestamped prices for OUSD and pathUSD, and canonical USDC pricing for USDC.e. Canonical USDC pricing does not establish bridge solvency or account for a bridged-token discount. Missing, stale or rate-limited prices block new spending; token amounts can still be displayed when USD conversion is unavailable.

Mainnet and testnet spending allowances are separate. Dashboard USD totals include mainnet only. Native gas and payment-token balances must be sufficient for the requested operation.
